Low-profile, recycled Nylon-webbing belt with an anticorrosive aluminium buckle can be used in a pinch as a lash strap.

Highly durable and strong, the Patagonia Friction Belt is made from a quick-drying 1″ recycled Nylon webbing ideal for comfortable long-lasting wear with shorts or pants on outdoor excursions (the webbing also doubles as a lash strap in an emergency). The buckle is made from aluminium because of its tough yet lightweight quality allowing the belt to last long without weighing you down. The aluminium features an anodized, anticorrosive finish for added durability that keeps it looking newer for longer. Sewn in Fair Trade Certified conditions, the workers that produce the Friction Belt work in safe working conditions and the environment is protected in the process.
