Montane Respond XT Hooded Jacket

The Montane Men’s Respond XT Hooded Insulated Jacket has been specially engineered for cold and wet mountain conditions.

Created using Pertex® Quantum Eco 30D this jacket is lightweight, windproof and water-resistant thanks to a DWR (Durable Water Resistant) coating. Pertex Quantum uses a tightly woven structure to provide a light and soft fabric that allows insulation to fully loft, by doing this the jacket can trap more heat keeping you warm when the temperatures drop. Montane has used Primaloft Silver as the insulation in the jacket, this fibre is perfect for outdoor activities. The jacket uses 133g/m2 of Primaloft Silver in the body and in the hood, sleeves and side panels, providing insulation that the Respond Jacket. Not only is it robust, but the fibre is also breathable and compressible. Plus, it is incredibly soft and comfortable to wear. Not only is this comfortable against the skin but this allows air to circulate so that you can stay at the perfect temperature whilst you are active. Enhancing the weather protection further, the jacket uses a fully adjustable helmet-compatible hood with a stiffened peak to keep the elements away from your face. An internal hem adjustment and elasticated cuffs minimise heat loss and keep out the wind, whilst articulated sleeves provide a full range of movement. The jacket has two hand warmer pockets an internal chest pocket and a further two chest pockets on the outer to provide you with space to store your essential items.
