Engineered with a PFC-free Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment, the Taiss HS jacket is highly protective and shields you from poor, wet weather while being highly breathable to provide optimum comfort across a range of conditions. X-vented water-resistant underarm zips increase ventilation while a Mammut single pull stormproof, helmet-compatible adjustable hood with a reinforced peak provides additional elemental protection and allows for an optimum field of vision at all times and is easy to adjust both vertically and horizontally. A water-resistant Aquaguard two-way front zip assists in putting the jacket on and off whilst preventing water from entering, ensuring you remain dry at all times. Two climbing harness-compatible front pockets with water-repellent zips and a zippered inner pocket provide optimal space to store your essentials and are accessible whilst wearing a harness. To stop windchill and provide an adjustable fit, the jacket has adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs while the pre-shaped sleeves allow for a wide range of movement without restrictions holding you back. Completing the jack is a one-hand adjustable drawstring cord with Cohaesive stoppers for easy adjustment of the hem.
