Lightweight Knit Upper

The upper of the Prodigio has been constructed from a lightweight knit that encases each foot in breathable comfort. The knit allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot muggy air. TPU reinforcements add durability throughout alongside a recycled abrasion-resistant mesh lining for added breathability and long-lasting wear. This highly abrasion-resistant upper will prevent any damage from being caused, which will allow you to push yourself harder, safe in the knowledge that you won’t cause damage to the shoes. The mesh also boasts lateral side panels in Net-Mesh for maximum ventilation and climate control. Additionally, the upper features an updated protective TPU toe cap, using recycled materials, that protects the front of the foot against trail hazards such as rocks and roots. A wrapping system construction also features on the upper to encase and secure the foot, preventing it from moving inside the shoe. Lastly, a traditional lacing system locks the midfoot and offers a customisable and secure fit. An added passage at the toe of the lacing gives a greater adaption of volumes and an overall comfortable, wide fit is designed perfectly for use over long distances.

XFlow Midsole

The Prodigio features an all-new XFlow midsole that provides fluidity, stability and flexibility. Designed, engineered and tested to guarantee a higher level of performance for even the most demanding trail runners. The force of each impact with the ground is absorbed to return a rapid response providing a boost of energy and increased speed kilometre after kilometre. The shoes use a progressive rocker and wider footbed to increase stability and provide a more natural and smoother gait as you run. An Ortholite insole will help wick away sweat and provide a soft and comfortable cushion under the foot.

FriXion Red Outsole

The Frixion Red outsole provides group and traction on multiple surfaces. This will guarantee that you have a supreme hold on uneven ground, as the outsole can create a strong link between the shoe and the ground. The rubber is also extremely durable, improving the longevity and functionality of the outsole. The dual mix compound delivers a perfect combination of grip, long-lasting wear and shock absorption. An aggressive lug design will dig into wet ground anchoring the feet in place, giving you more confidence when the ground becomes more uncertain. Fitted with an Impact Brake System, the outsole will assist with technical descents, relaxing you as you head down the hills.
